Classification of Glass

The simple classification of glass is mainly divided into flat glass and special glass. Flat glass is mainly divided into three types: pull-up flat glass (divided into two types: slotted and non slotted), flat pull flat glass, and float glass. Float glass is becoming the mainstream method of glass manufacturing.

Brief Introduction
The use of glass in decoration is very common, from exterior walls and windows to indoor screens, door leaves, and so on.

Due to factors such as uniform thickness, smooth and parallel upper and lower surfaces, as well as high labor productivity and ease of management, float glass has a wide variety of special types.

Matters Needing Attention
1. During transportation, it is important to pay attention to fixing and adding soft pads. It is generally recommended to use an upright method for transportation. The driving of vehicles should also pay attention to maintaining stability and moderate to slow speeds.

2. If the other side of the glass installation is enclosed, it is important to clean the surface before installation. It is best to use specialized glass cleaning agents and wait for them to dry thoroughly before installation. It is best to use clean construction gloves during installation.

3. The installation of glass requires the use of silicone sealant for fixation, and in the installation of windows, it also needs to be used in conjunction with rubber sealing strips.

4. After the construction is completed, attention should be paid to attaching anti-collision warning signs, which can generally be indicated with non dry stickers, colored electrical tape, etc.
